Divya Bhatnagar’s condition is critical.
Divya Bhatnagar, who has been suffering from Covid-19, is still on ventilator support. She had to be rushed to the hospital on November 26. Her mother and brother came all the way to Mumbai from Delhi once they found out about her deteriorating health. Her brother, Devashish, recently revealed that the actress had also been suffering from pneumonia before testing positive for coronavirus.
WHAT DID DIVYA BHATNAGAR’S BROTHER REVEAL?
In an interview with The Times of India, he said, “We have shifted Divya to another hospital. She was hospitalised on November 26 and tested positive for COVID-19 on November 28. She was already suffering from pneumonia, which has worsened owing to coronavirus. Initially, she was on non-invasive ventilation to support her breathing, but is on ventilator now because of all the exertion of shifting hospitals. We want her to recover from the pneumonia, which has spread.”
He further added, “I am meeting Divya wearing a PPE kit because I need to be by her side and cheer her up. She is conscious and tries to talk to me. I am not allowing my mother to go inside as she is 63 and has to be extremely careful about her own health.”
WHAT DID DIVYA’S MOTHER SAY?
Her mother had talked about Divya’s health in an interview with The Times of India on November 28. She said, “Divya had temperature since the last six days. She was feeling very uneasy. I came down from Delhi and got an oximeter home. We checked her oxygen levels, they had dropped to 71. She is on a ventilator now, her oxygen level is about 84, and her condition is critical. The reports have just come and she has tested positive for COVID.”
Divya Bhatnagar was shooting for Tera Yaar Hoon Main when she had to be rushed to the hospital. She then tested positive for Covid-19. She has also worked in TV shows such as Udaan, Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre and Vish.
