NEW DELHI: Telecom operator Vodafone Idea, which was recently rebranded as Vi, has extended the availability of its prepaid plan of Rs 1197. Earlier the service provider used to offer the prepaid plan of Rs 1197 to customers who were purchasing a smartphone bundle via Home Credit.
The telecom operator partnered with Home Credit in 2019 in order to offer financial access for 4G smartphones. Customers who were purchasing smartphones through Home Credit were allowed to avail Rs 1197 prepaid plan by Vodafone. Now, the company has extended the availability of its Rs 1197 prepaid plan and it is now available to all the Vi prepaid users in the country.
Listed on the official website of the company, the prepaid plan of Rs 1197 is available pan India.
Under Rs 1197 plan, the Vodafone users will get 1.5GB data per day with unlimited calling facility. The plan also offers free 100 SMS and it comes with the validity of 180 days. The Vi prepaid users will also get complimentary access to Vi Movies and TV. The plan also comes with Vi’s weekend data rollover benefit.
Last month, Vi introduced a new feature called Weekend Rollover of data for its prepaid users in the country. With this feature, the prepaid users of the service provider will be able to use more data during the weekends by carrying forward the unutilised data from the daily quota during the week. The company said that this will be applicable to all prepaid customers doing unlimited recharges offering daily quota benefits of Rs 249 and above. The offer is available to all the new and existing Vi prepaid users in the country.
