Richa Chadha Reveals Fukrey Will Always Be Special For Her, Here’s Why

The third movie of the Fukrey franchise will be releasing on 1 December 2023 as the makers have decided to postpone the release, earlier the movie was slated to release on 7 September 2023.

Though the trailer of the film hasn’t been released, the makers have released a video in which they gave a recap of the earlier two movies before revealing the new release date.Both the flicks were directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and starred Pankaj Tripathi, Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh in important roles.

The first movie was released in the year 2013 and the second hit the theatres in 2017. On 14th June 2023, the first movie Fukrey finished 10 years of its release and Richa Chadha, the actress who was showered with love and affection by audiences for playing the role of Bholi Punjaban, talked about the movie and told why Fukrey will always remain close to heart.

She said in an interview, “It’s incredible to believe that it has already been 10 years since ‘Fukrey’ was released. This film has been a game-changer for me in so many ways. Not only did it give me the opportunity to portray a character like Bholi Punjaban, which has become an iconic role in my career, but it also introduced me to the love of my life, Ali. ‘Fukrey’ will forever hold a special place in my heart.”

The couple got married last year as their marriage got delayed due to COVID-19.
