Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus may have three phones in its flagship OnePlus series, as per a report by Voice. The device in news is reportedly named OnePlus 9E, with the other two models being OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. OnePlus 9E could either be the cheapest and most affordable device in the lineup or mid-range model.
The report does not touch down on important details about the phone, like the specs and the price-point. It just gives alleged name of the device
The company usually unveils two flagship phones whenever it launches a new series of smartphones. If what is being claimed in the report is true, it marks a shift in the general strategy adopted by the Chinese phone maker which the company has started tinkering with already.
OnePlus has already started out on a different path by launching the affordable Nord. OnePlus 9 is reported to launch in March 2021. As per a leak, the OnePlus 9 may feature a 120Hz display and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 octa-core processor and run Oxygen OS 11 based on the Android 11 operating system. The smartphone may also come equipped with a 48MP primary camera paired with another 48MP ultra wide-angle camera and a small 5MP macro or depth camera.
