The National Investigation Agency has a filed supplementary chargesheet in the KLF narco-terror case.
The chargsheet has been filed against narco-terrorist 32-year-old Dharminder Singh, a resident of Moga in Punjab. Dharminder allegedly used to to receive heroin smuggled from Pakistan and further distribute or sell it to local traffickers in Punjab.
Earlier in May this year, the NIA filed chargesheet against ten accused who was involved in cross border narco-terrorism to further terror activities of banned outfit Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF).
The ten accused, who the NIA had earlier filed chargesheet against in the KLF narco-terror case, has been identified as Jajbir Singh Samra (resident of Tarn Taran), Harpreet Singh )aka Happy (Moga), Varinder Singh Chahal (Amritsar), Nirmal Singh aka Neeldhari (Batala), Satpal Singh (Amritsar), Hiralal (Amritsar), Harjit Singh aka Bagga, Jasmeet Singh Hakimzada (resident of New Delhi who is in Dubai), Harmeet Singh alias PhD (Amritsar) and Jasbir Singh aka Shera.
In the same case, the NIA on Friday had filed a supplementary chargesheet against Dharminder Singh. Dharimder used to receive the smuggled heroin from Jajbir Singh Samra, the accused, and then distribute or sell it to the the local traffickers in Punjab.
The case relates to the seizure of 500g heroin and Rs 1,20,000 drug money in May, 2019 from three accused. The case was re-registered by NIA on January this year.
The NIA probe has revealed the role of Harmeet Singh, a Pakistan-based self-styled chief of Khalistan Liberation Force and Jasmeet Singh Hakimzada — a Dubai-based international drugs smuggler and money launderer — in running the narco-terror network to strengthen the terrorist activities of KLF. The investigation has revealed that a network of people consisting of narco-traffickers, militant elements and hawala operatives based in Punjab, Delhi and Dubai was operating at the behest of Harmeet Singh and Jasmeet Singh Hakimzada.
