The state of Maharashtra was formed on 1st May 1960 having Sagittarius ascendant. The foundation chart is having conjunction of the exalted Sun and Venus in the 5th house which are the 9th and 11th lords respectively thereby making a very strong Dhan yoga, which clearly makes it the richest state of India.

The present vimshmottri running dasha is of Mercury which is debilitated in the chart and the sub-period of Saturn started from July 2021 and will remain till March 2024. This explains the political instability in the state as Saturn is markesh (death inflicting planet) in the foundation chart of Maharashtra. Furthermore, the sub-period of Rahu started form 8th June 2023 which resulted in the NCP faction joining the government, this period will remain till November 2023.

A quick glance at Eknath Shinde’s oath-taking chart {30th June 2022; 19:35hrs; Mumbai} shows the presence of Alpayu Dosha which is not considered good for longevity. The synthesis of both charts indicates a strong possibility of a new chief minister in the state in the coming 2-3 months.

Jaimini and Nadi methods of astrology are based on signs only and are independent of birth time, using these two techniques one can accurately calculate the important events in one’s life.
