L&T Construction Bags EPC Orders In Domestic Market

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Construction on Wednesday announced securing EPC orders in India for its buildings and factories business (B&F).

It said the business marks an order from a developer for constructing residential towers in Thane and Mumbai including the construction of core and shell works for 5 towers comprising ground, 5 podiums, 54 floors and allied parking areas, a project to be executed within stringent timelines.

The construction company classified the project into a significant value of Rs 1,000 to 2,500 crore.

Further, L&T Construction also hinted at securing another client to construct commercial office space in Bengaluru with an approximate built-up area of 16 lakh sq.ft.

It added the scope of work includes civil works for the composite structure and warm shell finishes among others with completion estimated over 18 months, aimed to test its fast execution of steel structures with composite steel technology.
