KBC 12 contestant Tej Bahadur used last lifeline to answer this Rs 50 lakh question

Last night’s episode of KBC 12 ended with contestant Tej Bahadur Singh answering the Rs 50 lakh question. He will continue playing for Rs 1 crore in tonight’s episode.

Tej Bahadur Singh will attempt the Rs 1 crore question on KBC 12.

The November 2 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati had 20-year-old Tej Bahadur Singh on the hotseat opposite host Amitabh Bachchan. Earlier, Sony TV had shared a promo of the contestant progressing from Rs 25 lakh question to Rs 50 lakh question to Rs 1 crore question.

Tej hails from a farmer family and aspires to be an IAS officer. He had shared that his relatives make fun of his dreams and aspirations. They try to push him towards farming saying only rich kids get to follow different career paths. He talked about his struggles on the show and also told Amitabh Bachchan that his mother had to borrow jewellery so that she could accompany him on KBC 12. He also expressed his desire to study and earn money in order to give his family a better future. He wishes to build a house and even sponsor his younger brother’s education.

Tej was overwhelmed to be on the show and also shared that he had been waiting to come on the show for a long time. Amitabh Bachchan also motivated him between the questions and praised his willingness to beat all odds. Tej used his last lifeline to answer the Rs 50 lakh question on KBC 12.

The question was:

The options were: Nikolai Tikhonov, Aleksey Kosygin, Nikita Khrushchev and Dmitry Ustinov

The correct answer was: Aleksey Kosygin

Having won Rs 50 lakh on the show, Tej will continue playing for Rs 1 crore in tonight’s episode. If he manages to answer the question, he will become the first male contestant on KBC 12 to win Rs 1 crore.

On KBC 12, Nazia Nasim from Delhi became the first crorepati. Kangra contestant IPS Mohita Sharma became the second crorepati and Anupa Das from Bastar became the third crorepati.
