Infinix Zero 8i smartphone with dual selfie camera launched at Rs 14,999 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Infinix has launched its latest budget smartphone — Infinix Zero 8i in India. The smartphone houses a dual selfie camera and is powered by an octa-core processor. The handset offers a 90Hz refresh rate display and is backed by a 4500mAh battery.
Price and availability
The company has priced the Infinix Zero 8i at Rs 14,999 and it can be purchased in Silver Diamond and Black Diamond colour options. The handset will be available online on Flipkart starting December 9. At this price point the smartphone will face competition from the Samsung Galaxy M31.
Infinix Zero 8i specifications
The Infinix Zero 8i features a 6.85-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2460 pixel resolution. The display offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 480 nits brightness. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor paired with Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU.
Infinix Zero 8i packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage which can expand up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. The dual SIM smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own XOS 7.0/ The smartphone sports a quad-rear camera setup with 48MP main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 8MP 119° ultra-wide camera, 2MP Depth Sensor, AI camera and Quad LED flash.
The smartphone comes with a dual selfie camera with 16MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP 105° ultra-wide camera, dual LED flash. The handset comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Infinix Zero 8i houses a 4500mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology. The smartphone also comes with an additional value-added e-Warranty feature which shows the validity date of the device’s warranty, saving users from bothering about shuffling through documents.
Apart from the smartphone, Infinix has also confirmed that by the end of this month the company will enter the Indian smart TV market with the launch of its 43-inch and 32-inch smart TVs powered by Android OS TVs along with a sound bar under its audio brand Snokor.
