NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Infinix is all set to expand its product portfolio in India with the launch of its Infinix Zero 8i smartphone. The company will launch the smartphone today on Flipkart at 12pm. It is expected that the company might price the smartphone under Rs 20,000.
It is also said that the smartphone will come Black Diamond, Green Diamond and Silver Diamond colour options.
Infinix Zero 8i specifications
Launched in Pakistan last month, the Infinix Zero 8i comes with a 6.85-inch full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own XOS7 layer of UI.
The Infinix Zero 8i is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The handset sports a quad-rear camera setup which consist of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP tertiary sensor and an AI sensor. The company has also incorporated a dual selfie camera at the front which includes a 16MP main sensor and 8MP secondary sensor. The Infinix Zero 8i is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery.
Rumours also suggest that along with the smartphone, Infinix might also its first pair of true wireless earbud, soundbar and Android TV in India today.
Recently, Infinix launched its entry-level Infinix Smart 4 smartphone in India at Rs 6,999. The handset is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The device is backed by a 6000mAh battery. It is accompanied by a 5V 2A charger that is said to charge the device 100% in 4 hours and 10 mins.
