  • India have now won 8 back-to-back T20I matches in 2020
  • Team India are yet to lose a T20 international match this year
  • Brad Hogg believes that they are the best suited to win the T20 World Cup next year

India is on an 8-match winning streak in T20Is in 2020 and is yet to lose a match this year. That is how good they have been in the format and former Australia spinner Brad Hogg believes they are the most balanced side in world cricket in the T20 format.

The key reason behind that, according to Hogg, is the presence of Hardik Pandya as the No. 6 batsman and Ravindra Jadeja as the No. 7 batsman.

“If you are going to win the T20 World Cup, your No. 6 and No. 7 batsman are the most vital cogs in your batting line-up. Because they are the ones that are going to finish off an innings like Jadeja and Pandya do quite often.

“That is the advantage that India have over all the other teams. They have the best No. 6 and No. 7 in T20 cricket. So, India should not change their batting line-up,” Brad Hogg said on his YouTube channel.

Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya have been the two heroes for India in the last two matches that they have gone on to win at the Manuka Oval in Canberra.

Hogg was analysing the Indian batting line-up after their win over Australia in the first T20I at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Friday.

He also said that India were the favourites to win the T20 series in Australia as they had a better T20 team.

“India last night were too good for Australia, they are the better T20 team. They have got a wonderful outfit. They have got batting depth as well as quality bowlers.

“If Australia have got an advantage it is in the bowling department, but India across the board are sensational,” he said.
