How did Meghana Raj deal with husband Chiranjeevi Sarja’s death?

Meghana Raj lost the love of her life, Chiranjeevi Sarja, on June 7, when she was five months pregnant. Back in November, she met the media for the first time after the passing away of her husband and spoke about how she dealt with her loss. Meghana delivered a baby boy on October 22 and had his cradle ceremony on November 12. After the ceremony, she opened up to the media about her child, his naming ceremony and dealing with Chiranjeevi Sarja’s death.

Meghana Raj, along with her parents, addressed the media on November 12 after her son’s cradle ceremony. She spoke about having several moments of weakness and how she felt immense pain. She also added that she learned lessons the hard way.

Speaking to the media, she said, “I don’t know if I am strong. Once Chiru died, I felt like the very foundation I was living on collapsed suddenly. I am someone who used to plan everything to the ‘T’. Chiru was just the opposite. He lived for the present and always told me to enjoy the moment. After his death, I learned that it is very important to enjoy the happiness in the present. One never knows what tomorrow will be like.”

Meghana also spoke about having experienced some weak moments after Chiranjeevi’s death. “Only my mother has seen me that way. When everyone told me I was strong, I know I had moments when I thought about whether it is worth living. I know moving on is not an option. I want to move ahead, carrying all my husband’s memories. At least for my son,” she added.

Meghana and her family members are planning to hold a grand naming ceremony. The arrival of Meghana and Chiranjeevi’s child has brought some happiness to the family. As of now, Meghana is trying to find the perfect name for her little one.

According to her, astrologers have suggested a particular letter. She said, “We are looking for names from that letter. Several suggestions have come in and we will announce the dates for the naming ceremony soon.”

Meghana and Chiranjeevi tied the knot in 2018 after dating for 10 years.
