Ganga Expressway May Open For The Public Before Schedule

The UP government has asked the developers of the Meerut-Prayagraj Ganga Expressway to finish the work by December 2024 so that it can get functional for the public before the MahaKumbh Mela of Pryagraj in 2025.

The state has allowed the usage of fly ash to fill up the shortage of soil in construction. The step does not only fasten the pace of running the project but also cut the carbon footprint.

The total estimated expenditure for the project is over Rs 36, 000 crore and was expected to be done by the end of 2025.

This greenfield expressway is expected to give speedier passenger and goods movements, agricultural marketing value chains, and tourism circuits along its route.

UP Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi has asked the officials to add the equipment and manpower.

Quoting the minister the leading media company reported that the expressway is a dream project of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and no slackness would be tolerated in its construction,

(The story is still in the developing stage)
