Gal Gadot to star in spy thriller Heart of Stone

Gal Gadot has been finalised as the lead in the spy thriller Heart of Stone. The actress will also be producing the film.

Gal Gadot will be next seen in her own spy series. The actress is teaming with Skydance Media for Heart Of Stone. As reported by Deadline, the actress scored what’s reportedly an eight-figure deal with the production house to star in the film. The deal has now placed her in the upper echelon of highest-paid actresses. The Aeronauts filmmaker Tom Harper is likely to direct the film.


The Wonder Woman actress will play the lead role of a spy in Heart of Stone, which is being described as a female 007/ Mission: Impossible. Gal Gadot has struck a huge deal by signing the film. While the amount has not been revealed yet, it is speculated that it’s an eight-figure deal.

Heart of Stone has been scripted by renowned comic-book writer Greg Rucka (The Old Guard) and Oscar nominee Allison Schroeder (Hidden Figures). The Aeronauts director Tom Harper is currently in talks to helm the project. Apart from acting in the project, Gal Gadot will also produce it via Pilot Wave with Jaron Varsano, Bonnie Curtis, and Julie Lynn.


After winning the hearts of her fans in Wonder Woman (2017) and a supporting role in Fast and Furious franchise, Gal Gadot is all set to be seen in her next film Wonder Woman 1984. The film hits theatres and HBO Max on December 25. Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 was scheduled to release earlier this year, however due to the novel coronavirus pandemic its release was delayed.

Apart from Wonder Woman 1984, Gal Gadot will be seen in Netflix’s Red Notice, which stars Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson. The shooting of the film is over. She is also reported to star in Cleopatra for Wonder Woman filmmaker Patty Jenkins.
