Various celebrities from the Punjabi film industry backed actor Diljit Dosanjh after his war of words on Twitter with Kangana Ranaut. Actress Sargun Mehta, ex-Bigg boss contestant Himanshi Khurrana, and singer Mika Singh among others reacted and came out in support of the Good Newwz actor.
DILJIT DOSANJH GETS SUPPORT FROM PUNJABI FILM INDUSTRY
Jassie Gill, who acted opposite Kangana Ranaut in Panga, took to Twitter and backed Diljit. Sharing a tweet by the actor, Jassie Gill wrote, “Ehte rakh (Keep it here),” along with clapping hands emoji.

Replying to a tweet from Kangana Ranaut, Sargun Mehta took to Twitter and wrote, “Jaise aapko apni baat kehna ka haqq hai inhein bhi hai. Bass farak yeh hai ki aap bina baat aur maksad ke bolti hain aur yeh apne haqq ke liye ladd rahein hain (They also have the right to express their opinion like you do. The only difference is that you speak without any reason and motive and they are fighting for their right).”
Replying to another tweet by Kangana, Singer Mika Singh wrote, “Par beta aapka target Kya hai ye tau samajh aaye, you are a talented beautiful girl aap acting karo na yar .. suddenly itni desh bhagti wo bhi twitter and news pe ..(But child first let us understand what is your target. You’re a talented and beautiful girl, please act na. Suddenly this much patriotism that too on Twitter and news).”

Gippy Grewal had also shared a video interview of the elderly woman in which she is identified as Mahinder Kaur. Diljit had also shared the same video on his Twitter handle. DILJIT VS KANGANA ON TWITTER
It all started when Kangana Ranaut had shared a meme and writing on Twitter that an elderly woman, who was protesting for the rights of farmers, is Shaheen Bagh dadi, Bilkis Bano. Kangana had also said that she is protesting to earn Rs 100. The now-deleted tweet had angered Diljit Dosanjh and triggered a war of words between the two.
