Customers complain after SBI online transactions fail, Yono app shows error

Several SBI customers started complaining about the technical glitches since Tuesday as they were not able to login to the Yono app or make any online transactions. Some customers said the issue is yet to be resolved.

Several customers of public lender State Bank of India on Wednesday complained that the bank’s online transactions are failing. Some customers said on Twitter that they are unable to login to SBI’s Yono app as it is showing an error message.

The bank’s customers started complaining about the technical glitches since Tuesday, but they are still facing problems. An SBI customer from Noida told that he has not been able to send money online despite four to five attempts.

Customers of other banks are also facing problems in sending money online to the customers of SBI bank. The bank is yet to clarify whether it is facing any problems in its online services.

Several SBI customers have complained that the bank’s mobile application, Yono, was showing an error code ‘M005’ and causing difficulties in online transactions.

One Twitter user said, “@TheOfficialSBI Yono app is the very worst banking app I’ve encountered so far. Why don’t you guys look into some development issues and resolve.”

Just a few weeks ago, on November 22, the bank had faced technical issues that disrupted online transactions.

“We regret the inconvenience caused. There are intermittent connectivity issues with our Servers. Kindly bear with us as our team is on the job to resolve the issue at the earliest. In the meantime, we suggest you to use our other digital channels,” SBI had said.
