Meghana Raj, in a conversation with the media, revealed that her late husband wanted to recreate the iconic Lion King pose with their child. She added that he had picked the perfect spot at the hospital to do the pose with his child. However, his dreams remained unfulfilled. Meghana delivered a healthy baby boy on October 22, four months after the passing away of her husband Chiranjeevi Sarja.
WHEN CHIRANJEEVI WANTED TO RECREATE LION KING POSE
They had planned to announce the arrival of their child when Meghana was five months pregnant. But, their plans remained unfulfilled. Meghana’s life came crashing down when she lost her husband Chiranjeevi on June 7 due to a massive cardiac arrest.
On November 12, Meghana met the media for the first time after Chiranjeevi’s passing away and spoke in detail about the harrowing days. She revealed that her husband wanted to show off his child like Simba from Lion King. He had even picked a spot for the same.
Speaking to the media, Meghana said, “I cried a lot when I watched Lion King. Chiru had identified one balcony in the hospital we visited regularly for check-up. He would tell me often that he would hold up our child and show it to the world on the day our baby was born. But I have learned that all plans can never come true.”
MEGHANA TO ANNOUNCE THE DATE OF NAMING CEREMONY SOON
On November 12, they had a cradle ceremony for her baby boy in the presence of family members and friends. Now, they are prepping for the grand naming ceremony, which is expected to take place in a couple of weeks.
Before the birth of Jr Chiru, Dhruva Sarja, Mehana’s brother-in-law, gifted a silver cradle with intricate details worth Rs 10 lakh. Also, Meghana and family had ordered a special Kalaghatgi cradle worth Rs 1 lakh for the little one. The Kalaghatgi crib was at display at the cradle ceremony last month.
Meghana’s father Sundar Raj, speaking to media, revealed that the naming ceremony will be extremely grand.
