Atlee Reacts To Criticism His Movie Jawan Is Getting From South Indian Fans

The movie director Atlee has debuted in Bollywood in a grand style as his movie Jawan is all set to cross the Rs. 1000 crore mark pretty soon and the audiences are going gaga over his film. Jawan stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, etc. in important roles and it is getting appreciated a lot by the audiences but few controversies are also erupted in regard to the movie.

While there are reports that the lead actress Nayanthara is not happy with Atlee because she feels that her character was sidelined in order to increase the importance of Deepika’s character, there is a big section of southern movie-goers who are slamming Atlee as they feel that Jawan is quite similar to some of his past movies including Mersel.

Recently, Atlee responded to the allegations made by the southern movie-goers and he said that he knows about such reactions and it is quite obvious that not everyone will be happy with his work but he will try to learn and perform better. He said, “But overall, what was my target audience, what was my intention of making this film? I wanted to make a commercial with responsibility. And, I made it. And even my fans in South are going really gaga about the film. And I’ve got new fans in the North, and they are also. So I’m happy in that space. Of course, for any product, there will be a little dissatisfaction.”
