Apple has acknowledged that iPhone 12 models have problems with wireless charging using Qi-certified chargers and the company has announced that it will be releasing a fix for the same. As per a report by 9to5 Mac, Apple is already working on a fix.
Describing the issue, a user said, “One day it will charge wirelessly ok, the next day it won’t. After hard reboot, it will charge. On your Apple forums, 700 people have same issue.” In reply to this, a service executive confirmed that they are aware of issue and a fix is on the way.
Last month, some users complained about display issues and it appears Apple seems to be working on a fix. According to a report by MacRumors, an internal document shows that Apple has “acknowledged an issue with some iPhone 12 displays exhibiting flickering, a green or gray glow, or other unintended lighting variations under some conditions.”
The report claims that the document, which has been shared with Apple Authorized Service Providers this week, shows that the Cupertino-based tech giant says that it is aware of customer reports related to this issue and is investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, some users of the new iPhone 12 series are complaining that they are facing network connectivity issues and are unable to get 4G network reception. Users also reported having problems connecting to 5G networks in some countries. Affected users have taken to the official Apple forum to highlight their plight. One of the users also mentioned that he is forced to use the hotspot internet connectivity from his Samsung phone to run his new iPhone 12.
Note that all users are not facing connectivity issues and it appears that only some users with certain telecom operators are affected by the issue.
