Anand Mahindra shares meme that made him jump out of his chair. Viral tweet

As the global pandemic struck the world in 2020, a lot of things shifted online to control the spread of the virus, like schools, offices, shopping and movies too. While for many, this has become the new reality, Anand Mahindra recently shared that he refuses to accept this as our future lifestyle.

The Mahindra group chairman recently took to Twitter to share a meme that talked about how our future would involve us sitting in front of a system and doing our daily work. Posting the meme, Mahindra wrote how it made him jump out of his chair and that such a reality is a nightmare. He also added that now he will monitor and limit his screen time.

“What a nightmare. Not a future I’m ready to accept. When I saw this meme I jumped out of my chair & vowed to monitor & limit the time I spend in a chair in front of a screen every day,” Mahindra wrote while tweeting the meme. The image shows people doing different activities like shopping, school, attending meetings, relaxing and watching movies, among other things, while sitting in front of a computer.

Since being shared, the post managed to gather more than 7,000 likes and several retweets. While some wrote that they could relate to the post, others talked about the privilege of working from home in this pandemic.
