Amazon Prime Video unveils first look of Unpaused, anthology of 5 short films


Amazon Prime Video announced Unpaused, an anthology of five short films. The anthology stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Richa Chadha, Sumeet Vyas, Gulshan Devaiah and Abhishek Banerjee, among others.

Amazon Prime Video today unveiled the first look of Unpaused, an anthology of five Hindi short films. These films have bee directed by filmmakers Raj & DK, Nikkhil Advani, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Avinash Arun and Nitya Mehra. Unpaused features stories about hope, new beginnings and second chances.

UNPAUSED – ANTHOLOGY OF 5 SHORT FILMS

The five short films include Glitch, Rat-A-Tat, Vishaanu, Chaand Mubarak and Apartment. Glitch is directed by Raj & DK of The Family Man fame. It stars Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher. Nikkhil Advani’s Apartment features Richa Chadha, Sumeet Vyas and Ishwak Singh. Rat A Tat, directed by Tannishtha Chatterjee stars Rinku Rajguru and Lillete Dubey. Vishaanu featuring Abhishek Banerjee and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan is directed by Avinash Arun. While Chaand Mubarak directed by Nitya Mehra of Made in Heaven fame stars veteran actress Ratna Pathak Shah and Shardul Bhardwaj.

FIRST LOOK OF UNPAUSED

Amazon Prime Video shared the teaser of Unpaused on Twitter and captioned it as, “We can’t control everything around us, but we can always fight ‘em with smiles on our faces! #UnpausedOnPrime Trailer out on Dec 8 (sic).”

Talking about the anthology, Aparna Purohit, Hea of India Original, Amazon Prime Video, said, “The union of such creative forces during these unprecedented times is testament to the fact that art will always find expression, even in the most challenging times. These stories are a reminder that there is hope at the end of a dark tunnel and a chance for us to embark on new beginnings. We are delighted to offer a fresh format with Unpaused to our customers.”

Unpaused’s trailer will be out on December 8 and will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on December 18.
