Accenture To Invest $3 Bn In AI Over Next Three Years


As part of the investment, Accenture’s Data & AI practice intends to double its AI talent, aiming to increase its professionals from 40,000 to 80,000

Accenture on Tuesday unveiled a significant investment of USD 3 billion over the next three years to bolster its Data and AI practice. 

The move is intended to assist clients across industries in swiftly and responsibly harnessing the potential of AI to drive growth, efficiency and resilience. The USD 3 billion investment will be directed towards several initiatives. Accenture plans to enhance its assets, industry solutions, ventures, acquisitions, talent pool and ecosystem partnerships. 

Accenture has over 1,450 patents and pending patent applications in AI worldwide. The company has implemented AI solutions in various domains, including marketing, retail, security, and manufacturing, delivering value and insights at scale.

As part of the investment, Accenture’s Data & AI practice intends to double its AI talent, aiming to increase its professionals from 40,000 to 80,000 through a combination of hiring, acquisitions, and training programs. This significant boost in talent will enable Accenture to cater to the growing demand for AI expertise across industries.
